Wow, what a wild ride the last few weeks have been!
ICYMI: I launched my first Podcast series, On My Day with Nat Cook – Tokyo2020ne, which uncovered the stories of 17 Olympians and Tokyo hopefuls, whose dreams have been put on hold due to the rescheduling of the Games. There were too many highlight moments and golden life lessons to count, as these remarkable people shared the highs and lows, and how they're keeping themselves motivated and focused on their goals. All episodes are now up on the Podcast page, if you want to re-visit or catch up on the series.
Did you have a favourite #Tokyo2020ne moment? Or any feedback on the series? Visit my Facebook Page to let me know – your comments will help me to make the next series even better!
I would also like to thank everyone who entered the competition to win prizes from our fantastic sponsors: a Fan+ athlete experience, AceOptics sunglasses and 2020 Australian Olympic Team Coins from Royal Australian Mint. Winners have been notified, so be sure to check your emails to see if you’re one of the lucky ones!
If you’re still hungry for more podcast content, you can hear me interviewed on Just Havin’ a Crack, where I take you behind the scenes of #Tokyo2020ne and talk about mine and Kerri Pottharst’s ‘rock star' gold medal moment in Sydney 2000, and on FoodBytes, where I put on my chef’s hat to talk about my second passion – food! Have a listen to find out if I'm really a ‘Champion COOK’.
